Anthony Cowie Ltd Company Information
Anthony Cowie first started the business in 1959 in Folkestone, Kent. For many years we traded from Alexandra Garden, Folkestone until the compulsory redevelopment of the site.
Since about 2000 we have been trading from 5, West Terrace in Folkestone. Our experience in home furnishings and custom fitting has an enviable reputation of quality and service locally. The new shop is laid out over three floors. Displays of the most modern, popular styles and fabrics are in the shop for you to view.
About Mr Anthony Cowie
Tony, to his friends and family, sadly passed away in 2010 after many years devoted to the business and his family. Jan, his wife and son Andrew, continue to run the company. Mr Cowie was an MS sufferer and showed exceptional fighting spirit to maintain a full working career in the shop whilst unwell. Tony was a very much admired business man and devoted family man who is sadly missed by all that knew him.
